We are currently looking for a Management Assistant (Permanent Job) with Excellent English & French, for a European Association located in 1000 Brussels. 

 

Function

  • Ensure overall Policy and Research Team smooth running
  • Point of contact for all team's internal & external stakeholders including answering the telephone, reception of visitors & e-mail follow-up
  • Organise internal & external meetings from A - Z, business lunches & extensive travel arrangements including expenses follow-up for staff & members
  • Responsible for all purchase orders, including checking off invoices
  • Present in team meetings & take minutes when necessary
  • Translation of statutory documents from ENG/FR into FR/ENG
  • Occasional formatting and proofreading of documents
  • Database & server maintenance
  • Responsible for hard & soft copy archiving

Profile

  • 1 years + Management Assistant Experience
  • Excellent English & French (written & spoken)
  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Highly motivated by the profile, real desire to be involved and take responsibility
  • Highly organised, really able to prioritise, multitask & handle interruptions
  • Structured, working well with procedures  
  • Pride in one's work & hence extremely quality and detail oriented 
  • Bright, able to work independently, off one's own initiative
  • Assertive but diplomatic, able to handle high level contacts
  • Open minded & positive minded team player, able to work in a multicultural office
