Materials planning & management Coordinator

Function

The tasks and responsibilities of the job consist of:

Planning the replenishing:

• Monitoring inventory according to budget
• Maintaining the rolling replenishment forecast in the Excel spreadsheets
• Follow-up of the forecast in SAP
• Sending notifications for replenishments to the warehouses and surveyors

Coordinating internal purchasing:

• Contacting Vendors
• Ordering product by issuing Purchase Orders/Quotations
• Transferring product by issuing Stock Transfer Orders
• Handling the complaints with vendors and subcontractors

Monitoring inventory and coordinating related controls:

• Coordinating, reception, process and storage of goods
• Monitoring accuracy of inventory in SAP, regularly checking with physical inventory counts
• Preparing stock adjustments including justification
• Ensuring optimal warehouse efficiency
• Follow up on product allocations
• Verifying warehouse handling invoices
• Reporting quarterly on slow movers and product in quality inspection

Being part of the logistics department, you might be requested to assist with some logistical tasks, such as booking of and follow-up on transportation.

Ensure that all stakeholders (CSR's, plant customers, service providers) are timely informed about all aspects of the materials management.

Ensure that all relayed tasks and actions are fully compliant with internal and external regulations such as ISO, Operational Excellence, Ethics & Compliance, Hazardous Cargo Regulations, etc

Profile

• Prior experience (min. 3 years) in international supply chain in chemical industry
• Flexible attitude towards working hours
• Language skills: English, Dutch -good, and French - good
• Very good knowledge of MS Excel
• Stress resistant
• Meticulous + analytical mind
• Education level: Bachelor (or higher)
