Account Manager (Biopharma)

Function

In order to strengthen the team we are looking for an account manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for growth in sales of Pall Biopharm consumables, systems and services for one of our major clients in Belgium and for working in close collaboration with existing inside sales and marketing teams

• You report to the Sales Manager Belgium and work in a team with 4 Account Managers.
• Developing and implementing a sales plan for your accounts to achieve your targets
• Establishing good relationships with all the accounts at all levels of the hierarchy
• Negotiating terms of supply agreements with customers
• Monitoring and reporting progress of your actions to management
• Reporting and following up as necessary inside Pall Biopharm to support a rapid and effective response to customer concerns
• Providing general customer feedback and competitive intelligence to assist tactical and strategic marketing initiatives
• Ensuring good communication of customer activity for Biopharm products
• Completion of necessary training and development programs as agreed

Profile

•   Masters in biochemistry, biotechnology, chemistry or equivalent
•   Fluency in French with a good level in Dutch and English
•   2 years previous experience in sales is required (ideally within a Life science    industry)
•  Able to identify, progress and close sales deals
•  Knowledge of project management is required
