Personal data protection

By signing an offer or a contract with Profile Group, the Client explicitly declares that he/she is aware of Profile Group’s personal data protection policy and therefore agrees that Profile Group will process his/her personal data in accordance with the principles and procedures defined therein. He/she also consents to treat personal data that will be transmitted by Profile Group, as part of the exercise of its recruitment and/or career management services, to their company in accordance with the applicable law.

Personal data protection is a priority for Profile Group. For this reason, we want to make sure that you understand the type of data we treat in order to conduct our business, why we gather it, your rights and how we protect it.

What type of personal data do we deal with?

  1. Personal ID information, such as names and addresses;
  2. Electronic ID information, such as email addresses, mobile phone numbers and cookies;
  3. Information about current employment;
  4. Information about recruitment;
  5. Information about how work is organised;
  6. Security information, such as passwords.

Why do we treat your personal data?

Your personal data is treated by Profile Group to offer its services relating to recruitment and career management, to send applications, and to improve its services and communication tools on a continuous basis.

Your rights

By sending a dated, signed request by email or standard post to dpo@profilegroup.com along with proof of ID, any applicant can get a free copy of his/her personal data from Profile Group, as well as being able to correct or delete incorrect or incomplete data, or limit how it is used. Each enquiry is dealt with within 1 month of receipt of the request.

Personal data protection

Personal data are treated in Belgium and stored in a data center in Germany. Profile Group takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data, in particular against unauthorized handling and access and will make every effort to make sure that these measures are as up-to-date as possible, given the state of knowledge, costs for implementation and the nature, scope, context and purposes of the processing as well as the risks for people.

Candidates’ personal data

When Profile Group passes data to third parties, such as companies that have appointed Profile Group for its recruitment and/or career management services, it undertakes to take all reasonable measures to safeguard the security and confidentiality of the personal data, in accordance with the applicable law. On his side, the third party is responsible for treating personal data in accordance with the applicable law, both in terms of data usage and security. Furthermore, in the event that Profile Group receives a  request to delete personal data, which has been transmitted to a third party, Profile Group will undertake all the necessary steps to inform the third party of the request.
